The Tournament of Power is a mode where you use a dedicated party to conquer prepared stages and compete against players worldwide based on your Battle Score!
Battles unfold automatically in a turn-based battle system! Unlike PvP Rating Matches that demand split-second techniques on the fly, character formations and placement are the keys to climbing the ranks!
Chrono Crystals are awarded based on player rankings, so take on the Tournament of Power every season!
Team Formation Tips
In the Tournament of Power, you will assemble a team of 8 characters made up of 6 battle members and 2 backup members!
When forming your team, it's crucial to keep boosts in mind! Two types of boosts are available: boosts that increase the stats of certain characters, Tags, or Episodes; and boosts that increase the Battle Score that you can earn.
Try forming a party with characters that have boosts!

Placement Tips
Keep Line Bonuses and Placement Bonuses in mind when placing characters!
Line Bonuses Strengthen characters just by placing them on the grid!
Front Row: Damage Guard UP
Enemies will prioritize targeting characters in the front row! Place characters with high durability here so they can get Damage Guard UP to withstand attacks and protect characters in the other rows!
Middle Row: Inflicted Damage UP and Ki Recovery UP
In the Tournament of Power, characters with higher Ki Recovery can act first! So, characters placed in the middle row will act faster during battle! Combined with the feature that allows you to choose the attack order at the start of a battle, try to remember the following powerful strategies!
Middle Row Advice
Take out powerful enemy attackers first to minimize damage!
Place characters of the same Element! For example, when attacking an Element RED character first, placing two Element BLU characters in the middle row enables you to attack that Element RED character twice in a row with BLU Element attacks thanks to Inflicted Damage UP and Ki Recovery UP!
Place characters with charged Special Move Gauges! Take advantage of the ability to act faster to unleash your Special Move Arts against enemies with Elemental weaknesses!
Back Row: Special Move Gauge Charge Rate UP
The Special Move Gauge is underneath the Health Gauge! Place characters with low Special Move Gauges in the back row and prepare a powerful strike!
Placement Bonuses
It's important to remember there are individual spaces with unique buff effects different from Line Bonuses! Strategically place characters on these spaces based on their effects!
Improving Your Score
Aim for a Higher Score by Powering Up Characters and Using Equipment!
Arts Boost
Arts Boost effects are applied in the Tournament of Power, increasing your stats! Aim for a high score and max out Arts Boost for every character in your team!
Friendship Rank
Each time a character's Friendship Rank increases, their stats are boosted by 0.5%! Since the maximum boost is 5%, raising their Friendship Rank to 10 will let you reap the maximum benefit!
You can efficiently raise Friendship Ranks using the "Let's Fight!" Event!
Tournament of Power Equipment
Don't forget to obtain and equip exclusive Tournament of Power Equipment!
It can be exchanged for at the Rare Medal Exchange Shop! You can boost your characters' stats just by using this Equipment, so it's essential for getting a high score!
Second Attempt
During a Tournament of Power season, it's possible to challenge it up to two times!
Between the two attempts, the attempt with the higher score is recorded for that season! Plan your party formation, routes, and character placement to aim for an even higher score!
Panel rewards cannot be collected on the second attempt, and Tournament Participation Points will carry over.
The health, Special Move Gauges, transformations, etc. for all characters in the party and backup will be reset upon starting.
